While you will definitely meet a lot of adventurers like yourself along the way, the best way to stay in touch and meet new people is through a guild.
What is a WoW Guild?
In short, guilds in World of Warcraft are in-game groups that have their own set of rules, and it is one of the best ways to have organized parties and raids for end-game content like Mythic+ or WoW Mythic raids, as well as PvP-oriented content. Guilds also have access to some special items at the guild vendor in major cities if they have completed certain achievements as a guild, and more importantly, if you are part of a guild, you will have access to a guild bank, which will help you lower your repair costs.

There are all kinds of ways to find a guild in World of Warcraft, and we are going to cover all of them.
Accept the random guild invite
If you play WoW for just a few hours, you will definitely end up getting guild invites from a complete stranger. Some of these invites are accompanied by a message where they explain why they want you to join their guild, what their guild is all about, and all other important information about it. On the other hand, sometimes you will not get a whisper, but only an invite, as people just want more people in their guild.
While joining these guilds is very easy, they often do not have any infrastructure, and you will see a lot of people joining and leaving throughout the day, but you may still find someone to adventure with even if the social aspect of these guilds is not the highest.

Use trade chat to find a guild
If there is a channel where you can find and sell your items, find the information you are looking for, or even join a guild through, it has to be the famous Trade Chat (/2) that you can access while in major cities. While trade chat is not as filled with guild advertisements today as it was in the past, you will still see a lot of advertisements. If you see someone advertising a guild that seems like something you would like to be a part of, just whisper the person advertising for more information or an invite.
On the other hand, you may just type that you are looking for a guild in trade chat, and you will surely get a couple of invites or whispers within seconds. The better description you make while looking for a guild, the more you will attract better guilds and filter out those who just want to have more members.
Use the in-game guild finder tool
By pressing the key “J” while in-game, you will open up the Guilds and Communities tab. Here, you can browse for guilds that focus on specific types of activities, you can see what they are looking for in their ranks, and you can request to join with a click of a button.
While this system is really easy to use, a lot of guilds tend to ignore invite requests from the system, and you will instead have to whisper someone within the guild. It is also a bit annoying that you can only look through three guilds per page in this tool.

While we can explain all of these in their own separate categories, they work in similar ways. All three sites essentially have a forum-like structure where a guild is going to make a post where they list all of their information, including their achievements, activities they do, who they are looking to join, and how to contact them for joining the guild. If you are a more serious WoW player, this is probably the best option to find the best guilds that will take on the most challenging content that the game can offer.
Make your own guild
Of course, if you have an idea for a guild or if you want to be the one leading a community, you can easily start one yourself. All you have to do is visit a major city and go to the guild vendor, where you can purchase a guild charter for ten silver.
Then, you will need four people to sign it, and once they do, turn it back to the guild vendor, and you have your guild. Once your guild is created, you can set up a tabard that will represent your guild, and you can start recruiting adventurers.
