This tournament will kick off competitive Super Smash Bros in 2025 for its region. While taking place in New York, there’s a wide pool of players. Luminosity Makes BIG Moves 2025

The latest event from Even Matchup Gaming is kicking off on January 5, and running through to January 7. It’s going to feature a few different events, but the biggest is Ultimate Singles. The Singles side of things has a prize pool of $13,260 and $2,300 for Doubles. It’s an impressively sized event for Smash Bros, but that’s not the only tournament featured at Luminosity Makes Big Moves 2025.

Smash Ultimate

The biggest event at Luminosity Makes BIG Moves 2025 is Smash Bros Ultimate. This game is featured in both Doubles and Singles. The Singles is definitely the most exciting prospect though. We’re going to see quite a few of the best Smash Bros players take part in this event. There are players like Sparg0, Sonix, Tweek, Light, MKLeo, and more. These are some of the top active players so this event will set the tone for Ultimate in 2025.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2

Along with smash bros Ultimate, we’re seeing another game at the event. Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 is getting featured at the event! This is another platform fighter that plays similarly to Smash Bros so it makes sense for this to be included. It’ll feature a smaller All-Star Brawl 2 tournament.

Luminosity Makes BIG moves 2025 is an exciting early tournament for the new year. With so many of the biggest Smash players attending, this side of things are going to be exciting. If you want to know which Ultimate players are the ones to watch, this could be an early look at things are balanced for this year.
