Call of Duty's Season 2 Reloaded Update Looks Stellar

For a mid-season change-up, the Season 2 Reloaded update looks pretty good. It was recently revealed in full by Activision, with the company showcasing a series of changes and additions being made across the entire Call of Duty ecosystem, including Modern Warfare 3, Warzone, and COD Zombies. There are new weapons, a new map, some twisted map variants, new modes, and much more coming to the Call of Duty network in the Season 2 Reloaded update, which drops on March 6.

Typically, the mid-season update in Call of Duty is a nice stopgap and nothing more, but Activision has pushed a little more update into this change than usual. From the introduction of a Warhammer collaboration to reimagined maps of days gone by, there’s plenty for Call of Duty fans to soak up when the Season 2 Reloaded update drops on March 6.

There’s quite a lot coming as part of the Season 2 Reloaded update. Firstly, players will get to explore a new small-form map – Das Haus. It’s a reimagination of the iconic map from Call of Duty Vanguard that’s best known for tight spaces, death-trap corridors, and a maze of small rooms. Two new weapons are coming with the Season 2 Reloaded update, too. They’re the Soulrender melee and the SOA Subverter BR.

Warzone fans will be pleased to see changes in their game. There’s a new point of interest to be explored in Fortune’s Keep, a special Field Upgrade that eliminates the gas cloud for a while, and an all-new ‘Bunker Buster’ killstreak that lets nothing stand in its way. There’s something lined up for COD Zombies fans as well, including a new story mission, a fresh Aether Rift, a new and terrifying Warlord, and never-before-seen Schematics.

With more map variants being added in the form of Airborne and Skidgrow, players will once again find themselves thrust into a post-apocalyptic scenario. As Season 2 pushes on, players are still tasked with celebrating the end of the world, it seems. Finally, for those looking to splash a little cash, there’s an array of collaborations and bundles finding their way into the COD Store with this update. There’s a Gorilla vs. Kong crossover, a Dune pack and challenge series, and a Warhammer 40k bundle to be purchased.

It’s a sizeable update for sure – it all kicks off on March 6, with the update going live globally at 9 AM PT.
