Call of Duty League Major 1 has wrapped up, with 2025’s first big major being historic for a number of teams.
From both Miami Heretics and Carolina Royal Ravens having their best performances ever to LA Thieves dragging themselves out of the mud and getting into championship shape mere weeks after some incredibly disappointing matches before Major 1, it’s been one of the most hype CDL Majors ever.
It came down to a BO7 Grand Final that went the distance, with LA Thieves and Atlanta FaZe keeping it a nailbiter of a set until the very end. Ultimately, only one team could win, and that team was FaZe.
LA Thieves got too hasty with the bomb on the very last Search and Destroy round, resulting in them getting trounced by FaZe at the very last moment. An unfortunate end to one of the closest Majors in CoD history.
Here’s the full schedule so you can catch up on how the tournament went down.
CDL Major 1 Livestream

Minor 1: Mid-split online tournament
For the first time, the Major cycle includes mid-Stage ‘Minor’ tournaments. These are single elimination and grant extra CDL points based on the Major standings at the mid-point of qualifiers.
After a disappointing opening for Black Ops 6, Atlanta FaZe turned up the heat and absolutely demolished the competition in this tournament. They’re back in World Champion form for Major 1.
Meanwhile, LA Thieves’ performance was so disappointing to Nadeshot that he tweeted at the team directly, saying, “I don’t want to see our guys log off the game until the first major.”
