The CS2 Major Copenhagen 2025 has been the talk of the Counter-Strike community, with the initial phase of ticket sales already sold out due to an overwhelming response. Back in July, PGL announced a temporary halt to ticket sales for the event.
The second batch of tickets is expected to go on sale in September 2025.
From March 17 to 31, the esteemed Royal Arena will serve as the battleground for the playoff matches. Teams will vie for supremacy in front of a crowd of up to 16,000 enthusiastic spectators. The event, boasting a staggering prize pool of $1.25 million, is set to be one of the most lucrative tournaments in the Counter-Strike competitive scene.

PGL Major Copenhagen 2025 will be the first Counter Strike 2 Major under Valve’s new competitive rules, marking a new era in competitive CS. The game is yet to launch, but the open beta is expected by the end of August, while the first “season” starts at the end of September. The first actual CS2 tournaments should begin by the end of October of this year.
