OW 2 Season 9 leaks

As the current Overwatch season ends soon, we’ve started to get a good look at what’s next. It’s going to be a season with some skins based on Eldritch mythology, along with one of the bigger adjustments to the game’s balance in quite a while. These are the new Overwatch Season 9 Leaks.

Moira Mythic skin leaks

One of the most recent leaks comes from an anonymous Twitter account, showing off a new skin for Moira that’s coming next season. This will be the season’s Mythic skin. It’s the one that’s at the top of the Battle Pass, which should be a notch ahead in terms of customization. The skin is using the Eldritch theme of the season, with a monstrous appearance for the character.

Along with the Moira Mythic skin leak, there are also going to be new skins for Reinhardt and Torbjorn. Both of these will be a part of the Season 9 Battle Pass. The new skins should be fun for support players, even if it won’t make the list of rarest Overwatch skins anytime soon.

Overwatch Season 9 leaks – Planned balancing changes

That’s the cosmetic that’s getting changed up. However, the big news is really the leaked Overwatch Season 9 patch notes. These contain some major changes for the upcoming season.

  • PvE Event – Part of the OW Season 9 leaks is a new PvE inclusion. It’s a Moira-focused mission.
  • Pharah Rework – A big rework is coming for this classic hero. According to an Overwatch esports player, they’ll get more health and an increase in rocket speed.
  • New Ability – A new ability for Pharah is planned called Jet Dash. It’s a mobility tool.
  • Projectiles – Projectile sizes are planned to be increased, and they’ll move slower.
  • Hitscan Spread – This will increase across the board by 0.05.
  • Health – All heroes are getting health adjusted, with a 15 to 20 percent difference.
  • Ultimate Cost – This is supposedly going up by 10 percent.
  • Self-Heal – Controversial addition to heroes to limit reliance on teams.

Those are the more general changes that are in the Overwatch Season 9 leaks. However, there are some specific changes planned for heroes too. For the most part, it’s an increase in armor or health. However, there will be damage changes too.

These changes coming for the latest season are some of the biggest we’ve seen since Overwatch 2 launched. With a new format for OW esports starting up too, there’s a lot going on in the game right now. We’ll have to wait and see how these changes turn out, though. As leaks, everything is liable to change before we actually see the release.
